Mid MO | It's not just you.
Our friend group gets together for a potluck at the local park. Nobody has to clean house, we each bring a dish and drinks. We do a theme, like tacos, so it's a complete meal. Gets us out of the house, time to socialize, cheap and easy.
The adults enjoy adult conversation and adult drinks. The kiddos can run around going nuts and having fun. We even have a new splash park and you get to visit with the parents of other Littles.
Growing up, Mom always fried chicken and packed a picnic lunch when we went on vacation or to the state fair. As a kid, I thought it was normal. | |
