Western Oregon | If we eat out we get things we don't make at home or flavors we don't normally keep around. Grilled halibut fish and chips or sandwich. Specialty burgers like bison or elk, things like that. Local specialties when in the area. We don't eat out often, haven't been to a sit down meal in 5 years. We eat what we grow, simply oven roasted. Only pastured butter, a small amount of virgin cold pressed olive oil. A little sea salt and black pepper grinder, added at the table. 3 course meal may be 3 different meals in a day. Rather have a simple burger patty cooked over wood flame, than a highly "seasoned" steak. We seldom eat any processed foods....James | |
