I think the way to evaluate yield or return is we have better corn stands on first emergence. Plants coming up 3 to 5 days after the original flush are nothing more than weeds. Many of those later corn plants wont even put on an ear many times. That equates to yield lose. Precision puts out flag kits to help prove this.
