Mostly VT stalks from previous fall planting beans into fair amount of trash(corn stalks)

Some stalks ripped in the fall with 875 with less residue in spring.

Corn being planted into stale been stubble to FC beans stubble that has had fall applied ammonia.

I would probably get the IRHD for those conditions. The only way I would consider air is if your in consistent ground from one end of field to other.

I plant no till, vt, striptill, and am glad I got it. Planted from 5-7.5mph with ME5e for corn and up to 10mph with beans(9 was most comfortable). I am glad to have it, especially when needing to get depth to hit moisture this year.

ETA: I am not experienced with 20” rows, but I do think they are more forgiving when it comes to even emergence.
