On the fuel issue I have a 8r on a 9860 with the 12.5L motor & it uses for sure less than with the 635F. I eliminated a grain cart in the field with the larger tank with extensions.


I could see the 635 dragging the fuel more than the 8 row but that probably also depends on the corn. We harvest starting at 23-24% to take advantage of test weight and yield potential in our pressure cure grain bins. Ours will have the folding extensions and also has the corner extensions that I didn’t know were an add on. 400 bushel of wet corn though is plenty weight for me on the ground…hopefully the grain cart will keep me from reaching that level unless we’re opening up a field
