Would be interesting if you report back later with your thoughts on the 780. My experience is it will be a lot harder to set. A lot easier to throw corn and soybeans out the back, although coming from what you had you probably won’t push it that hard. Harder to get a nice sample. May want to take the threshing bars off of the rethresher helps with grain damage. You will love the cab. Very quiet, unloading auger huge plus also. Beautiful combine but in my opinion do not have enough clean grain or rotor capacity to run with other similar class combines.
That’s interesting on the rethresher taking the bars out. I don’t know much about it yet but it’s good to know that’s an option if no other adjustments fix it. Hopefully we won’t have an issues with capacity as we don’t typically run as fast ground speed as a lot of people around us. Quality over quantity is what we shoot for. Thanks for the tip |
