Nope. Not even any around here that I know of.

 

 

Here is what we run.

Yetter trash wheels/coulter combo and  what we call the cotton closing system.

 

It's kind of hard to see but thats the only picture I have that halfway shows what we run. We've since upgraded planters and run 1720's with XP row units.  We moved everything over from the old planters to the new ones.

 

And yes, sometimes the old cotton stalks don't let us do as good of a job as we'd like. It's no problem with peanuts that we plant deep but like you say, cotton gets planted so shallow.
