Central Indiana | We’re going from a 2011 9570 to a 2019 S780 for this fall. I know the 780s have been out for a few years now and was wondering what tips some of you might have since we skipped the S6 series combines. Also going to our first draper head, a 640FD. We’ve done power shut downs on the 9570 every year to get it dialed in and wondered if that was worthwhile on the 780? This machine has the cameras and such for grain sampling but what’s on the ground and the tank is what we’ll be looking at. If anyone has any tips or tricks switching from an STS to an S Series I’d appreciate the input, thanks. I should add we’ll be using an 8 row corn head in corn. Normal yield around 220-230bu/ac and soybeans 65-70bu/ac.
