Glad to see someone else that thinks this thread is insane. Allowing a kid to run equipment at 5 or 6 is just stupid. Its one thing if you did this growing up when folks did not know better. I have been in shock about how many folks think this is o.k. to do these days. Macfarms says we have all had close calls. I can honestly say I never have. Happy to say our farm has not even had a single injury in the last 20 years. We work hard to stay safe. And no we don't run around with gloves and googles on all day. Just common sense goes along way. And letting kids run equipment goes against all common sense.
