Subject: Re: grain cart scale documentation

Southeast Wisconsin
We used a digi-star scale on our Kinze cart last year and had a notebook next to it just in case we forgot to press print. However we didn't have a printer but a memory stick. You plug the stick into the computer and all the weights download to a notepad file. I could sit there all day and change the weights if I wanted. Needless to say we didn't use it. Just use the yield monitor and elevator slips. The only thing that was nice about the scale was knowing how much was loaded on the semi. State troopers and DOT getting really anal around here.
