northeast SD | Been doing a few over 1000 alone for a long time. Works pretty good with a 12 row planter and a 20 ft. drill. Used to custom plant an additional 1200-1500 acres each year for about 5 years, which got to be too much. Just have to ignore the neighbors that have bigger equipment and help that seem to stand around. I get things done timely although when the weather doesn't cooperate it gets a bit stressful. Biggest trouble is getting everything moved without wasting too much time. | |
