Galahad, Alberta | What guys here do is take a generator to the tractor, plug it in and let it run for a few hours, then start the tractor. Another option is a Webasto engine heater. The 4wd my brother bought used to belong to a farmer who did a lot of custom work, like fall banding, and he never knew where he would be from day to day. So he plumbed in a Webasto. If the guy wanted to start at 7, he'd just set the timer to start the heater at 6:30, get there at 7 and hit the key and the engine was just about at operating temp. By the time he greased and fueled up, things were ready to go.
