SW Manitoba. | Our land is spread out over a large area. From our yard we travel over 45 miles to the north east and over 20 miles west, 10 miles south, and 20 miles south east. The grain baggers would be a great deal in harvest to eliminate the need for truck drivers. However, most of these fields away from home have no yard or base to work from, therefore we have no power to plug in a tractor when it is cold in the winter. I am looking for suggestions and ideas on how others handle this situation. I simply can't drive the tractor home every night, too far!!!
Any thoughts??!!
