If it came form an A66, it is the right engine... The age difference is of small significance, or it would be to me anyway. As long as is came from a loader it will have the right pan. The pan issue is one of a cast iron structural pan on an AG engine VS the aluminum front deep sump required for the loader. If you've got that you should be free and clear. The rest is just linkages, cables and mounts for the alt... That's all pretty small potatoes to me.
I just hope you got a good runner...

The square manifolds were from the older series engine tho. The newer models went to rounded manifolds, then larger rounded manifolds, and then changes in the inlet locations, at least on some engines.
