Looks like you got taken. That's a morphidite if I ever saw one. The intake manifold is off an old 9000 or 9600 (1969 to 1975 vintage). The block appears to be the same vintage as well. It's definitely older! What are the block casting numbers?

The most appalling part is the timing cover. It appears to be off an old 3000 gas engine because of the provision for the fuel pump drive.

I'd be looking for a discount or for another one.
