Subject: Ford A66 engine - new engine is just a little different

I got the replacement engine for the A66 loader and the flywheel is the same and it looks like most of the accessory stuff should bolt up fine. Bern and others - is the new (blue) engine newer than what I had? The intake looks more squared off on the edges and the turbo is is near the back of the motor. I have enough intake plumbing to get something worked out.

One thing that is different is the crank pulley - I had a 3 groove with the dampener integrated and it looks like blue motor has a separate dampener and 2 groove pulley - what do you think about swapping my 3 groove for the 2 groove and dampener? I may be able to get by with 2 grooves depending on where the fan pulley ends up.

Thanks,

Pat
