Burlington, IA | My intent here is not to be mean spirited, you are more than entitled to your opinion. I would agree with you that I don't want to live in a modular home built in 1970, either. But, I'm sorry, comparing a 1970 modular home to one built today is nowhere near a valid comparison. For pete's sake, that's 39 years ago! There have been many changes in the methods of construction, and materials used since then, not to mention standards that have changed. To be sure, I'd be choosy about which one I used, but there are at least a few good ones out there that I've seen. Believe me, I'm choosy, and those I mentioned above I wouldn't be a bit afraid of.
