I agree with Gifford. First you have to figure out the grades on all the players involved. If the basement is below the water level of the pond your probably SOL, but a drain tile between the pond and the basement at or a little below the grade of the basement floor would definitely help, that is if you can daylight the drain tile somewhere near by.
Next try to seal or slow the flow out of the pond with some sealing bentonite clay.
All basements should have a perimeter drain installed below floor grade when the basement is built. And eave troughs drained away from the house.
