Subject: The golf Courses use Bentonite

North End I-15
to seal their ponds . Keeps the water in the pond instead of leeching away. Would do a elevation survey of basement depth and pond surface @ high water . Bentonite is cheap . Drillers Mud. Have used it to seal a leaking pond glory hole .

Perhaps the water is following the line trench to the house. Water/ground hydraulic pressure can force water into strange places .

My basement makes more water than my old well did . But then we free flow a billion gallons of water all over the yard with the gravity flow system . Some times wife just lets the hoses run 24/7
She sure has a pretty flower garden and green grass . Sort of an oasis in the Desert here . Our pond is 3 surface acres and 100 yards down hill from the house. When we had to pump from the pond things got a bit dry ..... Gravity is your friend :>)
