just a tish NE of central ND
Too bad that there wasnt a little more "MEAT" put in to those axles.A half inch more thickness would have probably cured the problem..When looking for a 1480 over the last years I seemed to see a lot of wrinked tin on the right side though, and not much on the left like your is.Just twists my stomach to see warped up twisted metal on something yuo are going to have to keep using/ fixing. My 1480 is reinforced and gusset-ed on the axle tube palte for some reason on both sides.
Hope "MOM" is doing well. Ive got over five decdes to go till I catch up with her.Wish I had all her knowledge and experiences! Some "golden flax??" in the morning ought to help her heal up good.......
Good luck guys
