| I can see spending money for hardware, like the $3000 receiver for the omnistar upgrade, and even the $3995 radio. Those are at least real assets that can later be sold if need be. But is the other $3000 to upgrade to RTK just to unlock software using a password or something? Hard to see the value in that, other than the fact that you have to have it if you want to run RTK. If I later sold the upgraded RTK system, would the unlocked package really be worth more, or does it even transfer to a new owner? Another way of looking at it would be to ask if it would have value to a banker on a balance sheet to the tune of an additional $3000? | |
