| I respectfully disagree. I don't have a boom section problem. I have a distance calibration problem. Distance and speed are not the same thing. I think the insight recieves a pulse signal from my gps to display speed and calculate distance. Speed is calculated by pulses per unit of time. Distance is calculated by pulses per actual distance traveled. The distance calibration button is in the configuration section right next to the button you push to select between radar or gps for primary speed source. It asks you to enter a pulse per 100 ft number or drive 100 ft so the insight can count pulses. If this calibration isn't used to determine distance and area why would it be there in the first place? | |
