Subject: RE: Insight counts too many acres

I think insights only use the gps for guidance, position, and speed. In the configuration screen you can select between gps or radar for a speed reference but this is only for speed and not for distance. There is a seperate distance calibration in the configuration menu. I think this distance calibration is used to count acres (impliment width x distance traveled = area covered). The flowcontroler bases flow off this acre count. The insight distance calibration number is in pulses per 100 ft. My pulses per 100 ft is set at 2000. If someone could tell me what number their sprayer has I could enter that number into mine to see if it improves the accuracy of the acre count. I have autoboom and autosteer so overlap is not the reason for my high acre count. I think the pulse setting is my problem. Any help would be appreciated
