Subject: RE: Running multiple houses on geothermal field

in a ratio poor mans calculator

3000 feet in clay ground

replaced 99% 100.000 BTU furnace

with a 48,000 BTU GEO at max capacity

never went to high stage at -25 wind chill at 0 deg F

so if three building on same set of buried lines would need like 9000 feet

I would run three separate sets of lines it is that little "white" box that is big bucks

if the three building where on top of another "tight"to geter

might be able to run the freon lines to air handlers in the number two and number three buildings

would have to bend the "heat" mans arm pretty bad here to get that to happen here
