Little River, TX | Plant the 2 acres plus some more into eastern gamagrass. It does not mind wet feet and it's roots may open the soil for better internal drainage.
Good for managed grazing, but a bumpy ride for hay production. May end up being used as a bio energy crop. It is a close relation to corn but a perennial.
Other than that a strategic break in the fence line berm might drain the water. May take a few years for the break to become large enough to drain the entire corner.
