Subject: Ok, does anyone make a staggered row unit machine?

Our situation of course is far different, but I'm still trying to learn what i need to make the no-till work for our situation. I've been wondering how much stagger fore and aft one would need to eliminate the pugging. ? That way each unit would be on 44" spacing. As long as the rear gang dont over burden what the front row just did, I wonder if it would work. I'm interested in this style system for planting grass seed on 18" rows or so. I'd need a little different type row unit for my application, but, the plugging is definately something I'd want to avoid as well.
