Thats a great question Old Pokey, Have yet to find someone willing to really bring a machine out and spend a little time with it to see if we can get it setup. I really think we could get something to work but everyone tells me otherwise. I guess the main factor is trying to get all the trash from corn to pass through the units without leaving a heaped pile of stalks between the rows. Bean stubble wouldn't be a problem but to invest in a machine I want one for doing corn on corn also. I was thinking that if I could harvest the corn and leave the stalks standing as straight up as possible it should work but my experience is limited and the people who tell me it won't work know alot more about it than I do...hopefully we can get something figured out. If you ever hear of anyone doing it in narrow rows please post it.
