Subject: Re: Help comparing Greenstar and Trimble RTK

Our farm is set up much like triplegfarms. We have been using JD rtk for three years on tripods. Having to move the base station for each field. Our local dealer is setting up there own series of towers so we will be able to use our base stations as tractor units.

We have been using JD rtk for our drainage maps. But we had to use a different type of software to create out topography maps.

This spring we will be using our GS2's with swathro on our planters to control seed and chemical applications on a split planter setup.
We will be able to use GS2 for autosteer, record keeping, planter monitor, and swathpro for seed and chemical. During the summer we will be able to run our sprayers with the same controller.

We also us Mapshots as our record keeping software and Apex for managing our guidence lines.

Good luck.
