Leesburg, Ohio
Thanks again for the help! More comments are welcome.

I think we have decided on GS, mainly because we have a couple guys at our local dealer who are getting the training for support. We have really liked the AL stuff in the past, but since we are all green (except one Cat) we like the plug-and-play concept pf GS. Also the Extend feature.

One remaining question: I know the AL/Trimble stuff does good elevation maps. Does GS do the same with RTK? I just checked our Apex maps from the combine, and it has elevation available, but of course only on about 20' resolution because of the SF1 signal in our combine. How accurate will it go? I'm not planning to use it for grade control on the tile plow for now, but would like to take the elevation off our harvest or planting maps to layout and design tile systems. Will it work for that?

Thanks Again!

Ken
