| We are in the same boat as you are. We have chosen to go with Deere mostly due to dealer support, but the Deere has the rtk extend. This allows you to keep running on rtk accuracy for 15min if you have signal for "x" amount of time and 5min if you are under that. That feature could save me a lot of time trying to figure out the "best spot" for my base station and down time from a signal lost due to trees. Also, I don’t know if Trimble can do it or not but we are going to use our base station Starfire reviver (for a while) and place it on another tractor during fall tillage and use the free sf1. | |
