| On AIing. We've been AIing for 30 years, up to 250 or more each year. Schynchronizing since 1986. Have tried various methods and from our experience, we've gone to MGA- Lutylse program and have had excellent results. From our experience, and observations, heat detecting pays dividends. Now to freeze branding. We use nitrogen on the cattle. Black Angus. Clip and brush area with Methanol, take a soap bottle of methanol and soak area then apply brand for 16 seconds. Iron should "pop" away from hide. Most years we have a good brand, but once in a long while they can be a little challenging to read. Don't know why. | |
