I'm about 45 miles west of Chicago, and its true crops look pretty fair around here. But I'm seeing things starting to deteriorate any time in terms of plant health, vigor, etc. We have been experiencing a unusually wet Aug. On one farm we've had about 18" of rain in the past month near the WI. line. As they say it ain't over till its over.
