Ohio | Central Ohio to Detroit , MI: good to average with some very dry areas
Detroit MI to Lansing MI: average on some fields, very dry to dead near Lansing.
Lansing to Chicago, Ill: White Pigeon MI very dry looking, even the irrigated fields??? Seed corn fields looked poor to diaster stage.
Chicago Ill to Springfield Ill: Started excellent near Chicago but deterioted as heading SW to Springfield Ill. Low ground looking avgerage to good but the high clay knowls??? were dry and dieing off.
The best was around Chicago and the worst was Brooklyn Mi. to Sturgis MI.
of course, we had a couple inches of rain at Brooklyn, MI for the longest rain delayed Nascar race ever at MIS. Great weather for the WOODWARD Ave Cruize from Detroit to Pontiac MI last Saturday. Over 60,000 vehicles and over 1,100,000 people there.
