Thanks so much for all the input guys. NoTill1825...I do wish I would have spoken up sooner, sounds like some good cattle. As far as grazing cornstalks goes...I guess that never crossed my mind, but this pasture butts right up to my uncles farm and interestingly enough it is the only one he no-tills because it is somewhat hilly. Grazing cornstalks is something I know nothing about so that would be a learning process. With just twenty acres I do not want to be overgrazing and have a muddy mess (uncles farm yard is clean, very well upkept, mowed nicely etc.) so maybe grazing cornstalks is a way to have a few more cows without making things messy?
