MN | Its funny you ask that because Dad is adamant that I get into black cattle. When I was in 4-H I showed all black cattle. I guess I am just drawn to the red ones now, but i'm not against having some black ones either. As far as my plans for the operation, I would like to get built up to 15-20 cows. Mainly just for a hobby not really to get rich. Possibly try to sell as many for freezer beef as I can. I have just always enjoyed being around cattle and would like to have a few of my own...by no means am I going to have these as my only income. Goosecreek...are you recommending I buy pairs so that I have a calves sooner to offset my costs? | |
