S.C. Wisconsin
We feed 35-40 lbs of 30% dm corn silage. We feed a quite of bit of Alfalfa haylage as we like to keep up with our crop rotations and we have a quite of bit rented ground on dryland light soils where alfalfa is a much better crop than corn. We have always got more production from good haylage (150- 190 rfv). This is the first year we will be feeding some bmr corn silage so maybe that will change our minds. Haven't opened up our bmr silage yet.
