Years ago when i had a real job and sold feed for farmland and we were Pick and rolling corn the Holsteins were the most profitable at that time. 400-1200# to grade choice shelled corn and pellets and no hay. They were shipping to Packerland in WI . Feed any roughage you would be 13-1400#. I believe it was 85 bu of corn and 400# supplement if done right. Corn then $1.30-$1.70 | |
