Kingston,Mi | When I was in college studying Animal Husbandry, my advisor was Harlan Richie and someone in a beef production class ask which "new"european breed of beef cattle would he interested in. His answer was Holstein's, particularly the dual purpose type raised in Holland at that time (late 1960's early 1970's). Must not have hurt his standing very much as he was inducted in to the Saddle and Sirloin Club in 1994.
