Mark, if they can't be bred at 15 months and calve at 24 months I don't want them.  Preg checked my March and April 2010 born Hereford heifers on October 24 and all were bred.  Holding them to calve at their 3rd birthday just doesn't pay in a commercial spring calving operation as far as I can see.  It's hard to ever make up $$ for that missing calf.
