Central North Carolina | Walmart is big enough to change the supply/demand factors in Choice vs. Select. Their suppliers, the packing companies, will demand more Choice in return, meaning there will likely be a move to more British genetics in the supply chain. Walmart is trying to bring more upscale shoppers into their stores as their sales have flat lined the past few years. And they don't have to make a lot of money on the meat to benefit from sales elsewhere in the store. This a pretty big deal. | |
