yep. as yearlings and 2 year olds...... ya have to be patient.. but as they mature, they kinda know how to hold their head and 'work' their way through the catch. Mine will wait as I adjust the gate to 'fit'. (most of the time). I ususally open it clear up, and assist on the closing of the catch.
