| I would say that any Hereford (horned) producer, knows how to treat the horns when the bulls are calves, so they grow out in the right direction. Jamisons would fall into that catagory. As yearlings, they will be a nice horizontal horn, about 6-8 inches long. If they 'tipped' them properly, they will grow down and around. My 8 year olds have perfect-non-intrusive horns, and the tips are still about 3 inches from the face. 8 years is long enough for me......
