Subject: Any horn issues with horned hereford bulls?

Baldwin City, KS
We lost both a polled herford and an angus bull to heat and lightening this year. I have pretty much made my mind up to replace them both with a couple of horned herfords from Jamison's. I was busy when I called and forgot to ask, are there any maintenance issues with the horns on these bulls? Do they just keep growing downward/forward, or do they require periodic attention? I liked the calves out of my polled bull and I'm sure looking forward to trying these guys on the black cows. Thanks.
