South Central Kansas, Harper County
I have mainly Angus or AngusxHerford cows, majority are Angus. I use all Simmental bulls, and have purchased the bulls from the same Simmental breeder for the past ten years. He always has very good breeding stock. A couple of the bulls are getting up in age a bit, so I plan on purchasing a couple more of his bulls this year. The last cows I purchased were from a cow auction in Salina, Ks, cows all came from a ranch in Wyoming that was selling out. Very nice set of Angus cows, these were all spring calvers. Last fall cows I purchased were from the same auction, and belonged to a local farmer/rancher in the Salina, Ks area.
