Bill, an update as you asked: this morning the calf we discussed stood up when i walked in the corral, although one front hoof still bent over. He appeared stronger, heifer bag appeared to have been sucked but not sure so I gave him a bottle of colostrum. I am going to leave them in the corral for the rest of the day, but it looks like they are bonding and he will be ok. I want to see him nursing before I let them out of the corral. fwiw.
