SE Texas | There seems to be a growing push in our area to convice the customer that grass fed beef tastes better and is more healthy than corn fed beef. Some area restaurants advertise "grass fed" beef and charge a premium for it. Never did notice who was paying for the adverts. They are just trying to build a market for a product that will have a higher margin.
Went to a bull sale last fall where all the bulls had come off of a performance based grass only program with no feed. Changing times to cope with changing market conditions. | |
