It is scary down here. Low numbers are helping the cattle market but I am trying to maximize gain on grass prior to moving to the more expensive protiens. What has really made it tough is the weather. Drought 6 of the last 8 years and currently in one since last April. most of the no-till oats came up and died. Rye grass never came up. Hay is becoming a valuable resource.
