Hay acres and cattle numbers are disappearing. 6$ corn will not work for the long term, the companies are finding out they can gouge people with price of the byproducts and this is putting pressure on the cattle industry. I buy my feed and the cost has risen $30 a ton in the last month. Calves are going to market, not enought margin to work in the cold weather.
