northwest tennessee | I am not really disagreeing with you Jim. I agree that things are going to change and may be for the better. I dont really know if the cattle business is sustainable like it is now and maybe the price will get to where it is profitable to do things totally different. I try to constantly be looking for better ways to raise cattle and I am not so into my way of doing things that I refuse to look at better ways. When you get to that point you are in trouble no matter what business you are in. I do think things are changing fast. We are fast approaching a point where the by products we have been using are not going to work like they have in the past with corn where it is going. Keep putting your ideas out to be tested. I see alot of people here that are too entrenched in the way they have always done things and that is not good. Whan I say here I mean in my area. | |
