Looked through classifieds in regional farm paper last night. A guy could buy 40-50 hd of Angus/Angus Cross bred cows and heifers from $900-$1100/hd here. There were ads for another 40-50 that did not list prices. It been a couple wks since I was at a barn, but they were bringing $550-$600 for bred cows (blk & bwf) that day.
